One-to-one Writing Tutorials
The WRC offers individual writing instruction to students from first-year to graduate in any discipline. Students can make an appointments for a 50-minute session by phone, in person, or online. Consultants work with students at any stage of the writing process including planning, drafting, focusing, organizing, revising, acknowledging sources, and learning to proofread and edit. Student Referral Program Classroom Presentations & Workshops Consultants provide brief classroom introductions to students about the services of the WRC. Faculty may also request 50-minute workshops on the following subjects: MLA-Style Documentation, APA-Style Documentation, and Revision Strategies. To request a workshop, use the WRC Classroom Presentation & Workshop Request Form. (Please give us at least one week's notice to schedule a classroom presentation or workshop.)
